The impressions per hour meter is used in Printing presses and in the printing industry in general. The instrument has to be connected to a proximity sensor or a slot sensor to detect the number of pulses that indicate the print speed. The sensed pusles are calculated to provide a output that shows the impressions per hour. A button is provided to show the total impressions also. Up to 360,000 IPH can be displayed
