· Accepts four digit to six digit secret code.
· Battery less memory storage up to 10 years.
· Code changeable up to 1000,000 times.
· Code reset capability.
· Door sensor input.
· Output for relay or solenoid.
· Output LED to indicate correct/wrong code.
· Beeper/alarm output.
· Five code entry attempts before alarm sounds.
· Keyboard lockout after alarm for 10 minutes.
Description:
The keypad operated code lock has applications in keyless entry with enhanced security including alarm. In addition, a door sensor detects door opening without code entry and sounds the alarm. A third feature is the sensing of the amount of time a door is kept open and if the door is kept open for more than one minute, it sounds the alarm. This system accept four to six digit code numbers in order to operate either a relay or a solenoid. Any code number may be input by the user, which is retained without batteries for more than 10 years. A dual colour LED indicates Green when the correct code is entered and red when the wrong code is entered.
A beeper is also provided which has a dual function of providing feedback to the user when a key is pressed and also acts as a alarm sound during alarm conditions. In case the user forgets the code, a RESET input is provided on the board in order to enable the code to be reset to zeros.
